Experimenting with capturing light in mixed media - based on a beautiful golden hour picture taken in Bergen (Norway).

This sketchbook took me 2 years to complete. The road was very bumpy, with lots of ups and downs. I started by serioulsy second-guessing why I had even bought this sketchbook, but two years later I absolutely love it and what it shows of my art journey! No masterpieces here, just some quiet growing, studying and experimenting. Some come along as I talk you through this sketchbook :)

Here is a recap of PleinAirpril 2026! The month has been a mix of an initiation to nature journaling (the first half), and some cityscapes (the short final half).
